The Bible tells us, “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and love mercy, and walk humbly with thy God”! We must learn to understand the importance of mastering mercy to fulfill the requirements of the Lord. Mercy is showing compassion and understanding behind WHY people express themselves in hurtful ways or by hurting others. It is imperative that we come to the reality that God takes action against those that re unmerciful.
In this liberating and restoring message, David E. Taylor identifies the significant difference between seeking God’s mercy to others. Mercy is an antidote to unrighteousness that must be implemented in our daily lives. Transgressions, sins, and iniquities are all different realms of unrighteousness; all three must be identified and confronted in order for God to fully cleanse us. Mastering mercy is a direct result of a continual pursuit of our relationship with Jesus, and developing in His character! God is attracted to hearts of mercy! Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. ~ (Matt 5:7)
